Table Talk: November 2026 theme
Some of the most meaningful moments in life happen around a table. It's where stories are shared, friendships are built, and everyone has a place to belong. But did you know that some of the most powerful moments in Jesus' ministry happened around tables, too? This month in KidCity, we're pulling up a chair for TABLE TALK, a four-week journey through the final days of Jesus' earthly ministry. Along the way, kids will discover something incredible: Jesus didn't just come to sit at the table. He came to make room for us!
We'll begin with Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, celebrating the arrival of the King who came to welcome us into God's family. From there, we'll watch Jesus turn over tables in the temple, reminding us that God's house is meant to be a place of worship, not selfish gain. We'll step into a beautiful moment of extravagant love as Jesus is anointed at dinner, discovering what it means to give Him our very best. Finally, we'll gather around the table with Jesus and His disciples for the Last Supper, where an ordinary meal became an extraordinary picture of His love and sacrifice.
Throughout November, our kids will experience these incredible Bible stories through exciting games, creative activities, hands-on illustrations, and meaningful conversations about following Jesus. More than anything, we want every child to walk away knowing that they are loved, they are invited, and there is a place for them at Jesus' table. So pull up a chair, bring your appetite for adventure, and get ready for a month of unforgettable TABLE TALK!

Pull up a chair, because there's room for YOU at Jesus' table! This week, we're kicking off our Table Talk series with an incredible celebration as Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey! Crowds line the streets, wave palm branches, and shout praises to welcome their King. But Jesus wasn't the kind of king everyone expected. He didn't come to claim an earthly throne or show off His power. He came with a much greater mission: to give His life, rise again, and make a way for us to be part of God's family forever! Through this powerful story, kids will discover that Jesus is the King of kings, and He came to make room for each of us at His table!

It's time to flip some tables! This week in Table Talk, we're discovering a side of Jesus that might surprise you! When Jesus entered the temple in Jerusalem, He found something that made Him angry. Instead of being a place where people could come to worship and pray, the temple had become a marketplace filled with dishonest sellers taking advantage of others. So what did Jesus do? He started turning over tables and clearing the place out! But Jesus wasn't just upset about what was happening on the outside. He wanted people to understand that God cares about what's happening in our hearts! Through this unforgettable story, kids will discover that following Jesus isn't about looking good on the outside. It's about having a heart that loves God, welcomes others, and produces good fruit. After all, Jesus didn't come to flip tables just to make a scene. He came to make things right!

What's the most valuable thing you've ever given someone? This week in Table Talk, we're pulling up a chair for a dinner party that nobody would ever forget! While Jesus was sharing a meal with His friends Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, Mary did something extraordinary. She took a jar of incredibly expensive perfume, poured it over Jesus' feet, and wiped them with her hair! Some people thought she was wasting something valuable, but Jesus saw something beautiful: a heart overflowing with love and worship. Mary's incredible gift pointed toward the even greater sacrifice Jesus was about to make for us on the cross. Through this unforgettable moment, kids will discover that we can never love Jesus too much, and giving Him our very best is never a waste!

Some meals are so special, you never forget them! This week in Table Talk, we're pulling up a chair for the most important dinner in history: the Last Supper! As Jesus gathered around the table with His twelve disciples to celebrate Passover, He knew something they didn't. In just a few hours, everything was about to change. Jesus took bread, broke it, and shared it with His friends. Then He took a cup and explained that these simple things would become powerful reminders of the incredible sacrifice He was about to make. Jesus wasn't just sharing another meal; He was preparing His disciples to understand the greatest act of love the world would ever know! Through this unforgettable story, kids will discover why we celebrate Communion and how the bread and cup remind us that Jesus gave His life to forgive our sins and bring us into God's family forever. As we wrap up our Table Talk series, we'll celebrate the greatest invitation of all: Jesus made a place for us at His table, and His love is something we'll never forget!

There are three nurseries located within the main KidCity Wing for your convenience—a nursery for new/immobile babies, a nursery for our walkers, and a nursery for our toddlers that are potty training. Here is where elementary age students thrive! Our team is passionate about helping children understand more than just the famous stories. Our goal is to help kids truly understand the overarching content of the Bible and how it fits together cover to cover, with a whole lot of fun along the way!

At KidCity Cove, we provide a specially designed sensory room, a certified special needs educator, and tailored curriculum adaptations to help meet the needs of each child we serve—including those who are non-verbal, autistic, or require additional support in group learning environments. While our goal is always full inclusion within our regular KidCity environments whenever possible, we recognize that some children thrive best when given an additional layer of care and structure. For those students, Cove becomes a beautiful bridge of support, helping them grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally at their own pace. The heart of Cove is simple: Care, Opportunities, Value, and Encouragement.
