Lead Pastors

Through Christ-centered worship and practical, creative, Bible-centric teaching, this dynamic duo have ben making an impact at RCOG for over twenty years. Here, people of all ages can find Jesus, grow in their faith, and reach others with their witness. Additionally, Les leads a men's small group on Wednesday nights, and Tressa heads up our worship ministry and leads a ladies small group. The Woodards have three kids—Trent, Jaden and Brock.

Kids + Creative Director

Josh and Beverly have been the head of our Kids Department since the summer of 2016. As Creative Director, Josh is key to all things visual at RCOG. Josh graduated GSU and studied Business and Marketing and minored in Public Relations. Beverly, has her Masters Degree in Curriculum and Assessment from Thomas University and serves as our Nursery Director. Josh and Beverly have two daughters, Isla and Lola.

Connection Directors

Brad and Kelly develop, teach, and maintain outlets for people to connect on personal levels within the church through small groups, Growth Track, and guest assimilation. Brad and Kelly also lead a small group, serve on the Church and Pastor's Council, and are key leaders in our worship ministries. Kelly has also served our region as a social worker for almost 20 years, working with abused and neglected children and their caregivers. Brad and Kelly grew up and met at Rincon Church of God, and have one daughter, Marley.

Youth Pastors

Kevin and Renee Summitt have served as Youth Pastors at Rincon since October of 2013. The Summitt family began attending the church in the summer of 2007. They bring with them an abundance of ministry experience. Kevin’s ministry experience ranges from becoming an ordained Bishop in the Church of God, substitute teaching, being a deputized Chaplin, and working at youth events for the denomination on a national level.

Communications Director

Kristen and her family have been attending RCOG for multiple years, and when the Communications Director position became available, she was eager to fill the roll. Kristen handles all outlets of communication throughout the church including scheduling, volunteer assimilation, registration for major events and also spearheads social media. Kristen and her husband Brandon have three children, Liam, Caroline and Katherine.

Assistant Youth Director

Evan joined the RCOG team in the summer of 2022 as a ministry intern and quickly made an impact with his creativity, passion for students, and heart for worship. Following his internship, he was offered a full-time position and now serves as Assistant Youth Director. In this role, Evan leads the YM Worship Team, helps shape the spiritual and creative direction of YM, and serves as the primary content creator for all YM media. His ability to connect with students and help them discover their gifts makes him a vital part of the Youth Staff. Evan serves alongside his wife, Bri.

Leadership Team

Chester and Jennifer Koffroth have been in ministry for over two decades and are both vital members of the Leadership Team. Chester is a licensed Bishop in the Church of God, and is on the Church and Pastor’s Council. The couple is bi-vocational: Chester, serving as the Quality Control Coordinator for a local flooring company, and Jennifer teaches kindergarten at a local elementary school. The team also serves on the worship team at RCOG. They have one daughter, Brianna.

Financials, CPA

As a Licensed CPA, Brad Johnson serves as our Treasurer and oversees all aspects of our organizational finances. Brad is also a valuable member of our Church and Pastor’s Council. He and his wife, Kim, have three boys: Ethan, Evan and Eric.
